Now that October 2020 is completed, TMP is still comfortably in second place in “The Financial League”.

TheMonopolyProject (TMP) showed another approximate $2,000 jump in value. Is this a ‘WARNING SIGNAL’ even though we are ‘WAY UP?’ Are we headed to a fall?

How much of this is due to COVID19? How much due to the election TOMORROW?

I write this on Monday evening, the 2nd of November 2020, the day before the 2020 Presidential Election. I will give my analysis of the election and what to do at the end of this post.

For now, here are the October 2020 standings in the “Financial League”. Yes, we have continued to play the game throughout the pandemic, with or without spectators. Gold gave back some of its gain while we slowly but surely gained. How long until we pass GOLD?

How did we get to the ‘REO Owned Estimate of Equity’ of $71,128 for the month of October?

We used the arithmetic average of three websites (Redfin, Zillow, Realtor.com) that estimate home values.

Who is will win the election and what should we do?

The answer to both is:

“Buy a field”

In Jeremiah 32 the Prophet Jeremiah is prophesying that the Babylonians will conquer Jerusalem, kill most of the inhabitants, take the remainder into exile in Babylon (Boney M – Rivers of Babylon – 1978) and leave a remnant in Judea (who will also abandon the Lord).

God instructs the Prophet Jeremiah to ‘buy a field’:

Jeremiah said, “The word of the Lord came to me: Hanamel son of Shallum your uncle is going to come to you and say, ‘Buy my field at Anathoth, because as nearest relative it is your right and duty to buy it.’

So, what’s going to happen tomorrow? I don’t know.

Through Jeremiah, God instructs us to continue our life no matter the circumstances of this world. Neither Trump nor Biden is equivalent to the Babylonians conquering Jerusalem. The Apostle Paul in Romans 12:2 cautions us to not be caught up in this world:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
