What Are We Looking at This Month – 8. The Market Is Still Too Hot

Since Jeff and Jim became “partners” in buying, renting, holding, selling and trading single family homes (SFH) for TheMonopolyProject in January, we have bought two houses. We completed the purchase of the house on 29^th Avenue in Apache Junction on the 16^th of February. And in May we bought a new build house in Coolidge, Arizona: “TMP2 – We Bought Another One!”.

We’re still on the sidelines now. The Phoenix weather has finally cooled down:

But the housing market is still super-hot. Let’s look to our own real estate guru and genius, Jeff Sutherlin:

Everyone agrees with Jeff: “US home price growth surges at fastest rate in more than 30 years” and Phoenix leads that race, “For the 25th straight month Phoenix led the 20-City Composite posting a 29.3% annual gain”:

ASU is favored, 69% to 31% according to ESPN. We shall see.
